Every voice matters.

About Speech Matters

At Speech Matters, we support individuals and families through some of life’s most vulnerable and challenging moments. Our work is rooted in compassionate, patient-centered care – meeting each person exactly where they are, honoring their needs, and providing steady, informed guidance from the moment of diagnosis through every stage that follows.

We specialize in palliative care and cognitive rehabilitation. Whether someone is living with ALS, Parkinson’s, dementia, the effects of cancer, or the lasting impact of a traumatic injury, we help our patients strengthen connection, uphold dignity, and enhance quality of life in meaningful, practical ways.

Our Approach

We provide tailored therapy for difficulties in speech and language, swallowing, and cognition. We also offer LSVT-LOUD voice therapy to help those facing decreased vocal loudness. At Speech Matters, we focus on comfort and what matters most to each person – ensuring every step of care is delivered with depth and intention. We collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and medical teams to support communication, safety, and quality of life across all stages of illness, recovery, and aging. Whether navigating a new diagnosis, managing a progressive condition, or seeking guidance in more complex moments, we develop personalized plans that center each patient’s goals, ease stress, and empower them and their families along their journey.
